Friends of the Dickinson Library is a 501(c) nonprofit organization dedicated to furthering the services and programs of the Dickinson Public Library and to bringing the library and its patrons closer together. Any individual interested in the Dickinson Public Library, or any organization wishing to show its support for the library, is eligible for membership in the friends.

Donate Books

If you wish to contribute books to the Friends of the Library, books may be dropped off at the Dickinson Public Library or the Dickinson Chamber of Commerce.

Donate Time

If you wish to volunteer your time with the Dickinson Public Library, please contact either the Friends secretary or the Library director.

Book Sales

The first Saturday of each month, the Friends host a used book sale at Dickinson’s Market on the Bayou inside the Dickinson Chamber of Commerce.
